Om du redan idag har ett guldkort hos Star Alliance eller SkyTeam kan du få ett även hos OneWorld genom att statusmatcha hos Airberlin.

Airberlin har nyligen öppnat upp för statusmatch från andra bolag utanför OneWorld. Det är en matchning som ger dig guldkort hos bolagets bonusporgram, Topbonus och kräver att du har guldkort eller högre hos det bolag du matchar ifrån.

Inom OneWorld kallas ett guldkort även för Sapphire. Fördelarna med kortet är bland annat lounge och fast track. Rent konkret för du bland annat tillgång till British Airways lounger i London. Därför är det en bra genväg till fördelarna om du är på väg in i OneWorld eller helt enkelt inte reser nog för att uppnå guld i flera allianser.

Det är värt att komma ihåg att många av dessa kampanjer bara låter dig statusmatcha en gång. Vi råder dig därför att göra detta enbart om det finns ett reelt behov. Det skulle vara frustrerande om man vid en senare tidpunkt bara för att matchningen redan har gjorts en gång. Om denna regel följ strikt har vi ingen erfarenhet av men det står tydligt i villkoren.

Villkoren i detalj:

• You must register for topbonus membership before requesting status match.
• Status Match applications must be emailed to [email protected]
• Please attach the following information:
  • A scan of your current valid frequent flyer card for which you are requesting a Status Match
  • Your topbonus number

• As a status card holder with an alternative frequent flyer programme you will be awarded the corresponding status with topbonus for a probationary period of 12 months (Platinum Card excluded)
• Within this probationary period, once you achieve the required number of status miles or flights pro rata, you will be awarded the status for a further year:
  • Collect 25,000 status miles or 24 flights within 12 months and you will be awarded a Silver Card
  • Collect 50,000 status miles or 24 flights within 12 months and you will be awarded a Gold Card
• A Status Match may only be applied once and once only and is available only for Silver and Gold status
• This Status Match offer is valid only for select frequent flyer programme of other airlines
• A Status Match with oneworld airline partners is not possible.
